I learned how to photograph on film. My fathers OM1 (Olympus) 35mm to be exact. So to me film will always hold a special place in my heart. It has much more depth ; clarity in realism I guess I would say. Not to say digital doesn't have its place. 

 The way film captures light is untold. I had yet to find a digital camera which could take its place ; although I did find one which comes close. Graduating from a school with  never ending  camera equipment I utilized it all. come to find years later I would no use one of the systems I tried.

 I now use SONY, leading in technical advances. Did you know SONY makes all the sensors for Nikon and Canon? yes they do. Also the camera I own has a sensor ( film sensor) so the light sensitivity is very high. An amazing piece of equipment. Ow and its the leading DPI resolution on all 35mm Digital SLR's. It will be coming out of the wood work soon. I am a little bit of a geek so I research and always seem to find the hidden treasure. :)

 DID I also mention that SONY teamed up with the industries leading lens GLASS maker!!!

I shoot 120 -  I fixed up an old camera and take it with me to weddings as a creative outlook. I have brides thanking me later for it. I use a twin reflex so I actual shoot from waist level, giving a total different view.

I loved this couple, By doing an engagement shoot I really get to know the couple. By the time of the wedding 

It truly felt as if a dear friend was getting married, having 2 sisters I also related to the Brides family well, I felt their trust in me. Enduring this made the day stress free for the both if us.  

This was the most amazing group of young ladies. 

The walk to Arts and Letters was so much fun. We must had stopped at least 4 times to take couple photos along the way, Making each photo that much more special.

My favorite wedding so far only because I love horses :)

I ran about 1/2 mile with these horses and the Bride , and it was worth every step 

     The Dress was so amazing, It took over the entire barrage along with the flower girls

This couple loosened up after a few takes, and began to really shine in front of the camera !

When a Groom is nervous, which most are, the best thing to do is have them look at their bride. They become relaxed and lost in their eyes, creating magical images full of love.

The ambiate lighting ( natural room light) says it all when it comes to photography. stage lighting sets the mood. This is a KEY element I offer as a wedding photographer.  This is what you pay for in a photographer, and the price is still lower than most whom do not offer this element.

she was a ball of laughs. This image may not mean much to you, yet the at this moment she has a smile on her face and tears of joy in her eyes. This image will now bring her back to this happy moment. The ambiance lighting in the background provides most of the feeling. Which I offer in my packages and a la cart. !!

The moment before endever

In this settig  I noticed the door had been closed because the groom may be approaching. So I simply asked the wedding planner to keep watch, I then opened the door slighting to capture this rim-light effect.

 In wedding photography everything happens so quickly one needs to "see" before seeing.  An amateur may take a great photo, yet a professional crafts the photo, giving life to it.

Utilizing natural light by camera angel is a must. I love the craft of lighting, for this is my vice.
